Butter (TB) is the sweetest Rex boy at The Burrow! He's approximately
two years of age and weighs approximately six pounds. Butter melts
when you pet him and loves to have his head scratched. This neutered,
velvety-soft guy is vanilla white and peanut butter colored. He's
litter box trained and very social. Butter was left at the pound as
a result of an eviction, but he didn't deserve to be on death row
and we're glad he's safe now. All he's missing is a happy, loving
home, one with a sweet, spayed girlbunn would be swell. Please submit
an adoption form to adopt Butter. Click here

Sassy (SM) is a like a typical Siamese cat in that she's very
chatty. She talks a lot and it's probably partly hormonal. Sassy had
a very difficult life before she was owner-surrendered into the pound.
Her life has improved slightly in that she is now spayed and feeling
less frustrated and hormonal as a result. However, she still deserves
better than a cement floor outdoors. Sassy has likely been mistreated
and neglected her whole life, which means that she is not trusting
of strangers right off the bat. She grunts and whimpers so much and
it's heartbreaking, but she has so much potential to be a wonderful
bunny. Once she calms down and relaxes a bit, she'll allow head scratches
and pets. She seems to actually enjoy them, but she's not the type
to admit that with purrs or melts just yet. We hope to save her life
because we know she's worth it. We just need to find a calm, patient
foster or forever parent who will teach her that not all humans are
bad. Sassy weighs approximately 6 pounds and is 3years old (according
to the person who dumped her at the pound). Please contact bunnystuff@hotmail.com
for more information. Click here

Lenny (TB) is an adorable, baby Fuzzy Lop with a wonderful disposition.
Recently neutered, he's already learning to use the litter box quite
well. This little tyke was turned into the pound because his guardian
got a job that made her travel too much. Lenny just wants stability
in a loving home where he won't ever wind up at another scary pound.
However, one should know that he's definitely not low-maintenance.
Those long locks of his need regular grooming otherwise they'll get
tangled and matted. Lenny's fuzzy sideburns are even cuter in real
life so stop by The Burrow to meet this cute little baby who is 80%
fur and 100% personality. Please submit an adoption form to adopt
Lenny.Click here

rescue. They were rescued as babies in May 2007, so they are about
1.5 yr old as of June 2008. They are full of personality and spunk,
yet are holdable and like to be petted. Ariel is a hotot mix and Penny
isa light brown bunny. They are bonded and must be adopted together.
They need a home that enjoys the natural exuberance of this dynamic
duo. Click here

Chico, the gorgeous, dark cinnamon-colored, male mini rex and
Sadie, the pretty, female hotot mix are two beautiful bunnies
that need a good and loving home. They love snuggling and giving each
other bunny kisses. Sadie, who wears the "pants" is outgoing
and curious about everything you do and Chico loves to be rubbed between
his ears. Both are healthy and have lived in a nice, loving home in
Culver City for several years. Sadie is 5 yrs old and Chico is 6 yrs
old. They are used to living both indoors (in the living room) and
outdoors (in a sheltered patio). They love to bounce around and perform
tricks. They will bring a lot of joy to anyone who brings them into
their circle of love. Please contact bunnystuff@hotmail.com for more
info. Click

Pancho & Lefty, neutered brothers, were hand-raised by a volunteer
after being abandoned at a local shelter to be euthanized. They're
now about five-months old, healthy, curious, and best friends. The
boys would like a loving forever home, where they will have plenty
of room in which to frolic and explore, tender pets (or massages!),
and oodles of fresh hay and veggies. Click

Xavier Adult Male, at least 2 years old. Was rescued from a pre-school
classroom where he sat in a tiny cage and rarely let out because "he
was not friendly with the children". Happily for him, the school
moved location and they could not take him with them. Since he has
been in foster in his own exercise pen, he has shown himself to be
extremely friendly, easily handled and very affectionate! Please call

Clover (OR) is a sweet, spunky rabbit in need of a loving home!
She loves people; she'll sit for hours being pet while watching TV
at night. She has been around lots of people since infancy and is
not afraid of loud noises or strangers-she'll run right up and ask
for a pet. She gets along well with cats too! Her favorite thing to
do is lick your fingers if you offer them to her! Click

Pongo and Natasha are a couple of crazy lops! They are absolutely
GORGEOUS (much more so than this photo shows) and provide hours of
entertainment with their silly antics. They love to explore and play
with their toys and boxes. Natasha is a 3-year old black lop with
very shiny, lovely fur. Pongo is a 2-year old Harlequin-Lop mix in
beautiful shades of silver. Natasha has a spine injury that is barely
perceptible from the outside, but Xrays showed injury, especially
around the neck plus osteoporosis throughout the spine. She is on
daily pain medication which she has responded really well to. Based
on her activity level and appetite, she doesn't appear to be in any
pain at all. (She frequently jumps up on top of the box in her ex-pen,
and even recently jumped out of her ex-pen!) Pongo is very intelligent
and independent and can occasionally be a little aggressive towards
Natasha, usually around mealtime. This behavior has subsided greatly
lately, and they are both making huge improvements in their attitudes.
Since Pongo is a bit possessive of Natasha, it would be best if this
pair were housed away from other rabbits. This spirited pair are a
bit messy when it comes to their litterbox habits, too, probably in
part due to Natasha's spine injury and also due to being territorial
around the other rabbits in their current home. They will need an
extra large enclosure, and some extra TLC will go a long way with
this pair. If you meet them and fall in love, you will not even mind
the little extra work required to take care of them!

Ayashe is a pretty Rex girl. She is adorable and loves to play
with her toys. Ayashe is overweight, so she needs a lot of space to
exercise and a strict diet of mostly hay. Additionally, she is very
shy and needs someone who can be patient as she learns to trust humans.
At this time, an experienced bunny home without children would be
best for Ayashe, because she has bitten in the past when frightened.
However, she has made a lot of progress in this area since being removed
from the shelter, and we are sure she will continue to come out of
her shell and be a very sweet bunny over time. We estimate her age
to be around 3 years old.

Say hello to Scotty and Savannah! What a devoted couple!
Scotty (gray) is a rescued Garden Grove pond bunny. Savannah (brown)
was rescued from another dangerous situation. She was kept in a cage
that she could not stand up in. She was rarely fed and kept on the
front porch in the hot sun where dogs could come up and bark at her!
She was rescued from that horrid nightmare and brought into our foster
program. Scotty fell in love with her right away! Both tolerate being
held. Scotty is still shy but is much more trusting now. Savannah
loves to be petted but is a kicker from time-to-time. Only an experienced
bunny person would be best for these two darlings. Their foster mom
has come to adore them. Scotty is a small bunny (probably 3-4 lbs)
and Savannah is about 5-6 lbs. They are in their outdoor run posing
for photos. Must be adopted together. Click

Jax (OR) is a brown male mini-rex and will be 3 years old this
summer. He is curious, very gentle and doesn't mind being held. He
has had some eye problems in the past, seen a vet for them, but the
treatment did not help. His left eye is completely grown over with
a cataract. He is not blind, can run around without running into things
and his behavior seems unaffected by this. He is in otherwise good
health. Weighs 4-5 pounds. Litterbox trained. Click

when she wandered into a neighbor's yard. She was pregnant and had
a litter of 6 beautiful babies at the end of January! She has since
been spayed. Wolfie is a sweet dutch male, the only boy in
the litter who is now 16 weeks old. He is an adorable bun who loves
hanging out with his mama bun. He has been neutered. Bugs and Wolfie
are a bonded pair with great litter box habits, and full of love and
energy. They love their hay, pellets and veggies. They are looking

Bugs' litter. They are 16 weeks old and have both been spayed. Chamomile

the more energetic of the two (hence her name) and is a spunky, cuddle
bun. They both love their hay and veggies and are extremely good with
their litter boxes. These two bunnies love pets from their humans
and will snuggle their way into your heart if you give them a chance!

sized - special needs. Jim Rabbit was rescued from the Garden Grove
Rabbit Rescue project. Jim had some life threatening wounds when he
was brought in, probably from being attacked while living at the rescue
site. The wounds on his front paw would never have healed properly,
so we opted to have it amputated to give him a better chance at a
full recovery. The other wounds have healed after proper medical care.
Jim's loves to lay on his back in your arms and flash you a big wonderful

Notredame (VE) is now bonded to Little White Bunny. He
is a handsome little Hotot who was rescued from Garden Grove. He had
a huge abscess on his back which made him look like a hunchback, hence
his name. During his neuter, Notredame's abscess was removed by one
of our bunny vets and now Notredame is healthy and happy, thanks to
a dedicated volunteer who medicated him and pampered him after his
surgery. Notredame still needs some socialization so he would do best
in a quiet home, where he can be loved from afar until he gets to
know his humans. Little White Bunny (LWB) has helped Notredame feel
safe and loved. LWB doesn't look so little next to her new tiny husbunn,
but they are both small rabbits who fell in love right away. She knows
what it's like to have a bit of a defect. She was bitten in the nose
by another rabbit so she has a little nose flap :( These two are so
in love and are constantly kissing each other. If you're interested

Elaine (VE) is a Hotot Dwarf mix who loves
to look at herself in the mirror. It's so funny! This baby girl was
born on January 18th, 2008, and rescued on January 19th with the rest
of her siblings. As the only girl in a litter of boys, one would think
she'd be a tomboy, but Elaine is quite a diva, actually. And almost
as if to highlight the point, she even looks like she's wearing a
lot of mascara ;) Her brothers have all been adopted, Elaine has been
spayed and is now ready to be adopted into a loving home with a neutered
boy bunny. If you're interested in bringing this sweetheart into your
heart and home, please submit an adoption form. For more information,

anytime anyone enters the room where he lives. He'll run around and
show how happy he is, just to try to get someone to pet him. This

Say hello to Dakota and Danny! (CW) Danny has been in our foster
program for a few years as a single bunny--always waiting for that
special lady bunny! When he was rescued he was abused, tortured, and
basically left to die in the park next to the GG pond. Danny was covered
in coca-cola, had an infected eye, and broken back leg. Over time,
all healed beautifully including his sweet heart! However, Danny was
a very lonely bunny. The day he met Dakota (brown) it was love at
first sight! We call these "instant bonds" and they are
rare. Dakota is a bit shy but sweet and as much a treasure as Danny
is. Both are holdable, medium size, and litterbox trained. Click

Charmaine and Neo (VE) are two social bunnies who quickly fell
in love upon meeting. Charmaine is a beautiful cream-colored medium-sized
bunny with taupe markings who is very grateful that there are boys
out there who like big girls! Neo is a tiny black dwarf bunny who
instantly loved Charmaine's curves. They went from romancing each
other to being happily married quite suddenly and now they are inseparable.
And they also love people! Charmaine likes to jump up on her foster
mom's bed to say hi and have some mellow girl time, while active little
Neo runs and binkies around the bed and waits below for his woman
to return. This adorable couple would love to move into a bunnyproofed
forever home where they can live happily ever after in wedded bliss.

Ratatouille (VE) is the cutest, sweetest, most kissy baby bunny
we've ever met! This tiny Rex mix was named Ratatouille because his
expressions and winning personality remind us of the wonderful little
character in the movie. Plus, he licks everything and everyone, as
though he's trying to sample all different tastes. We're so impressed
by how sweet and loving Ratatouille is, especially since his life
didn't start out well at all. He was rescued as a three-month-old
from a really filthy environment where he was improperly handled and
accidentally dropped by a child. Ratatouille had very bad sore hocks
and his privates were covered in feces. This poor little guy had to
have his nether regions cleaned up and shaved which resulted in a
little rat tail. Now he's healthy and working on his litter box training.
He would be an ideal companion for someone who has lots of time to
spend with him because he loves being near people and will long to
be touched frequently. He's a happy little guy in spite of what he's
been through and whomever adopts him will be a very lucky person indeed.
And if he gets to be some girlbunn's husbunn, she'll be a very lucky
girl, too! This little boy will be placed quickly so please fill out
an adoption form if you're interested. For more information about
Ratatouille, please contact bunnystuff@hotmail.com

also may clear up. Although it looks strange, Kaley gets around without
any problems. Mabelline sometimes acts as a head rest for Kaley! These
two girls love each other, groom each other regularly and are very
sweet. Please consider giving these special girls a forever home!

Peanut and Pokey are two wonderful, litter box trained house rabbits
who have been together for a year. Peanut the Lop was rescued from
a neglectful situation where she was purchased at a pet store and
then was kept in a tiny cage. Once we got her spayed we introduced
her to Pokey, a gorgeous, friendly charcoal-colored bunny who was
found hopping around a beach neighborhood. Peanut loves her tall,
dark, and handsome hubby and they are inseparable. He loves to groom
her and seems to whisper sweet nothings in her ear almost daily ;)
Although most bunnies are not low-maintenance pets, these two are
actually pretty self-sufficient and so meticulous that you'll only
have to clean and tidy up their area every other day. They currently
live with an elderly dog so they have their own room in foster care.
It is our hope that their future adopters will provide for them the
same standard of living. Please contact bunnystuff@hotmail.com for
more information. Or, please call us at the Bunny Bunch at 909-591-7200,

Pond rescue location. The Garden Grove pond location has been free
of bunnies for months, and just a few weeks ago someone dumped another
bunny there. Jefferson was all alone, injured and very hungry since
most of the foliage has been cleared out. His injury was a large wound
on the side of his face and neck that looked like he had been attacked.
It was cleaned and he was on antibiotics, and now he's as healthy
and happy as ever. His litter box habits are excellent. He loves to
run around and binky in his pen. He currently lives alone. Jefferson
